Our School
Our School History
For over seven decades, SPPS has been a cornerstone of faith-based education in Hopkinsville. Established in 1952, the school was founded to provide children with a strong academic foundation rooted in Catholic values and traditions. Since its beginning, SPPS has partnered with families to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, and personal growth of every student.
As a ministry of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, whose history in Hopkinsville dates back to 1872, the school continues a long tradition of serving the community through faith, education, and service. Generations of students have walked our halls, growing into leaders, lifelong learners, and compassionate citizens.

Our School Today
Today, SPPS blends a proud tradition with a vision for the future. In 2017, the completion of a new school building marked an exciting chapter in the school's history, providing updated learning environments designed to meet the needs of 21st-century students. While much has changed since our founding in 1952, our commitment to faith, academic excellence, service, and community remains as strong as ever. Generations of Saints have been formed within our halls, and we continue to inspire students to grow in knowledge, character, and their relationship with Christ.
